Not sure what counts as foodie, not my fandom, but they sound yum.
I am liable to do the first, while our daughter’s in-laws do the latter.
It’s a bit like that story about Cleopatra where she feasted Marc Anthony in a wildly over-the-top manner, then told him to come back tomorrow to see a real Feast. Then she had dinner with just Marc Anthony alone, but took off one of her pearl earrings, ground it to powder with a mortise and pestle and dumped it into their glasses of wine. I throw the crazy feast, but can hardly top homegrown meat for awesomeness.
