Claims versus Evidence

A basic distinction there seems to be some confusion over. So here’s an example:

Claim: Heavier things fall faster than lighter things.

Evidence: I drop a rock and a feather at the same time, and the rock reaches the ground first.

See? All good now? Next up: how evidence proves claims.

    1. Can’t fool me. That was just a finely carved feather made of lead, rushed over from a props warehouse in Burbank to the studio that was filming the fake moon landings.
