Urgent Book Review: Part 2 of Berenson’s COVID Facts

Part 2 of Alex Berenson’s Unreported Truths about COVID-19 and Lockdowns: Part 2: Update and Examination of Lockdowns as a Strategy came out today. Short & sweet: good review of the pandemic planning done prior to COVID – and how it was ignored in favor of panic. 3 bucks – go read it.

In this, the second part of Berenson’s calm and well sourced debunking of almost everything you think you know about the COVID panic, he walks us through the timeline of actual events and the panicked responses, and the analysis and advice of the CDC, the WHO, and other health organizations on possible pandemics responses – and how those plans, made in calmer times, were ignored and then changed to feed the panic.

Not much to add, except that Berenson is more calm and balanced than I would be. This lock down fiasco is damaging lives and killing people, way more people than the virus ever had a chance to hurt. Yet, the 24/7 panic drumbeat drones on. Like me and Briggs and others, he’s got the links to the official sources. It’s not a matter of questionable data – we’re using the same info from the supposed reputable sources that is available to everyone. The difference is: we understand it, and refuse to panic.

Go read it now.

Enough with the smarty-pants Dante quote. Just some opinionated blogger dude.

  1. *waves hand*

My health has gotten worse. Getting infections I never use to– even without going anywhere. Stress.

Can’t imagine how bad it is for places that actually had lockdown and/or mask mandates.

  2. My one nitpick – and it is a nitpick –

He glosses over a bit that the “sunbelt spike” might have been a spike, compared to what they had, but was certainly not a crisis in any way, shape, or form. He says that deaths followed the spike in cases, which is only half true: All cause deaths have remained steadily below normal seasonal levels for a long time now.

    Fantastic book overall. Must-read.

    1. I found him too conciliatory. What we’re talking about ranges from gross incompetence to effin’ TREASON. I can well believe a lot of the medical experts were simply bullied into compliance – but Fauci, and Brix, not to mention Newsom and Cuomo, etc., need an early morning appointment with a wall. Seriously. If this isn’t treason, what possibly could be?
